Ryan Standard was born and raised in Monmouth, Illinois. He attended schooling there, all the way through graduating from Monmouth College in 2003. Ryan has always had a keen interest in politics, economics, and sports.  He fell in love the economics, specifically the free market while matriculating at Monmouth College.

 

He is also a passionate Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bulls fan. In his spare time Ryan enjoys, golf, beach volleyball, tennis, reading, writing, cooking, spending time with friends and honing his skills on the guitar. Ryan currently resides in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL.
